Enzo Boglietti is indisputably one of the most modern, dynamic producers of Italy’s northwest; a domain making deeply expressive wines of tremendous elegance, refinement, nuance and ageworthiness. As such, their nebbiolos, barberas and dolcettos continue to be highly sought-after. Which explains why our relationship with this family-run winery goes back so many vintages.
The village of La Morra where the winery is based is arguably the most successful in this vintage, with the Brunate vineyard particularly worthy of note as one of the best plots in this growing season. Enzo's two top sites of the aforementioned Brunate (the most expressive) and Case Nere (the most powerful) are perfectly reflected in their multi-vineyard blend from the La Morra commune, which delivers nigh on unbeatable value for a "proper" Barolo from an excellent producer.
