What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express. You can also make payment with a cheque or via Bank Transfer. If you would like to make a payment our bank account details are as follows; Account name:The Wine Company (Uk) Ltd, Sort Code:16-16-31, Account number: 10880355
Gifting

Can I attach a gift message to my order?
Yes, you will have the option to add a gift message as part of the order process online. If placing an order over the telephone, please just let your customer service agent know and they will add it for you.

Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes, we have physical gift vouchers available from our shop or electronic vouchers can be ordered from our website.
Deliveries

How long until I receive my order?
For orders being delivered to mainland UK we offer delivery within 3-5 working days or you are welcome to choose a date that is convenient to you at the time of ordering. Please call our office on 01206 713560 for deliveries to Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands or if you need the wines sooner, please call us we will try our best to arrange where possible. Saturday deliveries are possible in some areas, please ask our customer service team for a price.

Can I have wines delivered abroad?
Unfortunately for reasons outside of our control we can no longer send wines outside of the UK.

Where are my wines as they haven’t arrived yet?
When you place an order you will be able to choose a delivery date. Some of wines are offered on a pre-shipment basis which means the wines are not yet in the UK. There will be a date for dispatch advertised on our website and our customer service team will also be able to confirm a date with you. If your wines were in stock when you placed the order and have been dispatched by our warehouse team you should receive an email or text with tracking details from our couriers. If there has been a damage en-route to you, our courier will notify us and we will send a replacement at the earliest opportunity.

Do I need to have an account with you to place an order?
No. you don't need to have an account however it may make it easier for you to see a record online when you order in the future. We will need to know your details though, billing address, delivery address, phone number etc.

Do you have a wine list/brochure you can send me?
As our wines regularly change on our website from offer prices to vintages the best way to view our selection is online. We do occasionally send out brochures with best sellers etc. especially around Christmas time and we would be pleased for you to join our mailing list.

Is there a minimum spend?
All of our wines unless stated as sealed cases (excluding en-primeur) can be purchased as 1 bottle or as many bottles as you wish. Please bear in mind, unless advertised there will be a delivery charge if under £180

Can I amend my order?
If you would like to amend your order in anyway, please call our office on 01206 713560. As long as the wines haven't already left our warehouse the order can usually be altered.

Can my wines be delivered to an alternative address?
When you place your order online or over the telephone, you will be asked for the delivery address. The delivery address doesn’t have to be the same as the billing address.

I have a faulty bottle?
If you don’t like any bottle, for whatever reason or it is faulty, please let us know and we will replace the wine or refund you. Faulty or unenjoyable bottles of any description, reported within a reasonable time after purchase, will be refunded without question or delay. Please contact our sales team on 01206 713560 or by hello@mrwheelerwine.com if you are not entirely happy with your purchase.

Can I collect my order from your shop?
Absolutely, our shop is located just on the outskirts of Colchester and has a wonderful selection of our wines from top of the range to everyday drinking wines. The shop address is Birchwood Farm, Birchwood Rd, Dedham, CO7 6HX. Please just tick click and collect when placing your order online or let our customer service team know when placing the order over the telephone.

Do you offer glass hire?
Unfortunately we do not offer glass hire.

I can’t login to my account/forgotten password
If you are having problems logging into your account, please ensure you are using the correct email address/password. If you have forgotten your password, you can press the ‘forgotten password' button on the login page and you will shortly receive an email with new password details. If you experience any further issues, please call us on 01206 713560.

Do you have any wines available that aren't advertised on your website?
The majority of our wines are advertised on our website, however very occasionally we have a few bottles left from a shipment, therefore if you are interested in a wine that you can't see on our website please call. We can check our stock or perhaps give you an idea of the next shipment date or discuss an alternative.
