ABOUT THIS WINE
Read Critic Reviews

Bold in the glass, Domaine Mourchon have created a rosé of real energy and lift.

"The light/pink salmon hued 2019 Loubié Rosé from Mourchon a beautiful village not far from Gigondas and is a blend of Grenache and Syrah. It offers a beautiful bouquet of ripe peach, tangerines, and strawberries to go with a juicy, medium-bodied style on the palate. It has bright acidity, plenty of fruit, and is another undeniably delicious rosé from this great estate. Drink it over the coming summer months." - 90pts Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate (previous vintage)

What do the critics think?
“In a lighter, racier, but still highly flavoursome and compulsively drinkable style, I also very much enjoyed a wine from the absurdly picturesque British-owned Domaine de Mourchon in the (equally picture-postcard-pretty) Rhône village of Séguret. The domaine’s Loubié Rosé 2023 has flavours reminiscent of a summery salad of watermelon, basil and burrata I’d like to drink it with.”
David Williams, The Guardian

Producer Information - Domaine de Mourchon

Set in a secluded valley between the picturesque village of Séguret and the Mont Ventoux, Domaine de Mourchon was established by the McKinlay family in 1998, and their delicious wines have been part of our range ever since, going from strength to strength with every vintage.

This is one of the Rhône Valley’s true stars, highly rated by consumers and leading wine journalists throughout the world - Jancis Robinson is a fan, and Robert Parker has awarded Walter McKinlay’s wines some impressive scores.

COMPARISON BASKET COMPARE

We bought several cases of this wine last year and we also purchased Magnums of Mourchon for our daughter's wedding last July. We think it is delicious, fresh and light with no sharp edges. The perfect Rose' for all occasions. We strongly recommend it.
