"...also from Sangiovese, of course, was aged for 18 months in oak and six months in bottle before release, and is absolutely singing. With spicy dark fruit, olives and truffles cloaked in silky tannins, it too slipped down beautifully alongside the risotto."
Jonathan Ray, The Spectator
From the family's Tenuta Marcianella in Montepulciano, the 2020 Vino Nobile is a delicious new addition to our range from Bindi Sergardi. Perfumed, complex and very expressive on the nose with ripe plum and black cherry fruit and a little exotic spice from its 18 months barrel maturation. Vibrant and flavourful with soft, silky tannin - a little plumper darker and rounder perhaps than its neighbour Chianti, and a fine expression of sangiovese.
