ABOUT THIS WINE
Simon Turner, owner of the Sumaridge Estate, first came to The Grange in 2017 and we tasted extensively through his range of superb wines. However, one wine that stood out was his Epitome 2009 - move on a couple of years and 2011 is a jammy fruit laden and full-bodied and beautifully balanced wine with great structure and the length is impressive, just the sort of wine to enjoy over a BBQ this summer.
It is a blend of 60% syrah and 40% pinotage, the latter the national grape of South Africa and a grafted blend of cinsault and pinot noir.
