    The Nyetimber winery itself is at West Chitlington, West Sussex, a county on England’s south coast, with vineyards in this and neighbouring Hampshire County.

  • Is Nyetimber a Champagne?

    Technically, no, as it is not produced in the Champagne region in France. However, the vineyard soil composition, the grapes used for its base wines (chardonnay, pinot noir, pinot meunier) and the method employed for producing the finished product - 'la méthode champegnoise' - are all identical to those in Champagne and to similar effect.
