Each 6-bottle case contains 1 bottle of each vintage listed below, and comes presented in a straw lined wooden gift box.

2000 Château Batailley, Cru Classé Pauillac
"It remains a "burly" Pauillac for the vintage, and it is certainly masculine in style. Then again, that is a leitmotif of the millennial vintage. As such, I can envisage this mellowing in four to six year's time, whereupon it will have the substance to give drinking pleasure over many years."
91/100pts. The Wine Advocate

2005 Château Batailley, Cru Classé Pauillac
"This is extremely well focused, with hints of rose petal emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with finer tannin than in previous years. I feel there is still some oak to be fully absorbed, so don't be afraid to cellar this 2005 for another four or five years."
93/100pts. The Wine Advocate

2009 Château Batailley, Cru Classé Pauillac
"Maturing, earthy/broody nose with notions of scorched earth and sweaty leather over a core of blue and black fruit preserves, fried herbs and rusty nails."
89/100pts The Wine Advocate

2010 Château Batailley, Cru Classé Pauillac
"Deep garnet in color, the 2010 Batailley starts off quite cedary/oaky, opening out to reveal notes of preserved plums, blackcurrant cordial and new leather with touches of pencil shavings and bay leaves."
90/100pts. The Wine Advocate

2016 Château Batailley, Cru Classé Pauillac
"An attractive, meaty bouquet with more red fruit than black, unlike many of its peers. With aeration it appears to gain more floral notes and lift. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, linear and focused, offering pencil lead, cedar and light spicy notes toward the conservative, controlled finish. A mocha-tinged aftertaste emanates from the oak. Good potential, but it needs time."
93+/100 | Neil Martin, Vinous

2017 Château Batailley, Cru Classé Pauillac
"Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Batailley gallops out of the gates with notes of baked redcurrants, black raspberries and blackcurrant pastilles plus wafts of cedar chest, bay leaves and rosehip tea. Medium-bodied, the palate delivers mouth-coating black fruits with a firm, grainy texture and lively lift to the finish."
92+/100pts. The Wine Advocate
