"Cask sample. Mid crimson. Lots of scented fruit but also a little smoky, suggesting reductive winemaking. This is serious Bourgogne with a finely dry tannin texture and dark, rather than pretty, fruit on the palate. Firm and needing time. A savoury but harmonious style." Julia Harding MW
