2022 Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Vey, Domaine des Malandes
Delicious citrus peel and green apple, with a lovely richness to the mid-palate and a long, pithy finish. An excellent example from the village, and great value to boot.
"The 2020 Chablis Vau de Vey 1er Cru has a light, steely nose that is very zen-like, with crustacean aromas emerging with time. The palate is better, offering sour lemon and orange peel on the entry and fine acidity that lends satisfying tension."
