2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Font du Vent, Famille Gonnet

A fine example, with weight and presence, but also perfume and elegance – with a suppleness of texture and soft tannins rendering it very approachable. Striking blackberry and dark cherry fruits with an appealing warmth and secondary notes of garrigue, spice and liquorice. Made from 50 year-old grenache (75%), mourvédre and syrah grapes. Produced organically.
