Typically, a luminous, pale, wild salmon pink, aromas of delicate, gentle red fruit and pepper and a chiseled, mineral elegance briskly driven on the palate, there is often nothing so perfect as a good Côtes-de-Provence rosé. Here we also taste a more ethereal side of those blockbuster, red southern Rhône varietals: grenache, syrah, carignan, cinsault...
