2021 Sauvignon de Touraine, Domaine Bellevue, Loire | £10.95/bottle
Grown in Touraine in the middle of the Loire Valley, this is a good alternative for those of you who do not wish to stretch your budget to the likes of a Sancerre or Pouilly-Fumé, which incidentally this Gold Medal wine is on a par with. The Domaine de Bellevue 2021 is made from 100% sauvignon blanc and it offers a delicate fusion of exotic fruit and balanced citrus notes with a persistent fresh dry finish, this is a wine which never fails to impress. Stunning!
"Beautifully balanced. Perfect for those of us who are bored of overly fragrant and light Sav Blanc."
Peter C
"...a fleshy wine with a delicious taste of tropical fruit and greengage."
Peter Devlin
"I'll keep buying it when its in stock"

2021 Viognier, Domaine de la Baume, Languedoc | £10.95/bottle
Big viognier style at a distinctly small price. Wonderfully rich and opulent, the 2021 just like previous vintages is simply lovely. Once again its seductive perfume sets the tone with luscious peach and apricot fruit to follow, golden honey in colour, and a beautifully rounded mouthfeel and weight.
"A complex and serious wine. Excellent if you like this grape. Very good value"
RS
"This is Viognier at its best at an attractive price. A delicious, rich flavour of soft summer fruits, easy on the palate and well made to display this difficult grape's excellent aromas."
JC
"This is astonishly good and the price reasonable."

"Really impressive claret with more Cabernet than often the case. Delicious."
Michael
"Really lovely balanced Bordeaux drinking beautifully right now. Plenty of red and black berry fruit and little hints of earthy maturity. Refreshing lively finish. A delicious bargain."

2010 Château Les Moines, Cru Bourgeois Médoc | £19.95/bottle
As the legendary 2010 Bordeaux vintage now flourishes into maturity these twelve years on, we're hardly surprised to now see it so rapidly disappearing from the marketplace. Nor are we by its accelerated value there. So, to find such an outstanding Cru Bourgeois claret as is the 2010 Château Les Moines go for under £20 a bottle is pure joy - and an increasingly rare occurrence.
"We very much appreciate medoc wine and this is a top class cru bourgeois with a super 2010 pedigree. I guess we must be on our 4th case now but who’s counting!"
Ken
"Smooth and nicely matured."
Chantal
"A great tasting wine at a great price. It's hard to go wrong with this very smooth red. Enjoy!"
