Bollinger Champagne Special Cuvée

It's indisputably one of the true greats among the grandes marques of champagne, and one always recognised by its fuller-bodied signature style. A style achieved through a high proportion of pinot noir in a blend of reserve wines that are aged in old French oak also. Add to this the enhancing effect of extended time on lees (five years - a period well beyond NV requirements) and the result is one of real depth in flavour, an ultra-fine, persistent mousse, and an exquisite balance of citrus and orchard fruit that develops a toasty, biscuity character on the finish.
