ABOUT THIS WINE
The grapes for the Réserve come from the Château’s oldest plots of merlot with an average age of over 50 years which, with their low yields, produce a wonderfully rich and concentrated wine that will be delicious drinking after 2-3 years, and will last for a good 10-15 years.
For all of you who enjoy a smart buy, and a good house red for years to come, this is an exceptional vintage.
Tasting Note
A vibrant, dark ruby wine with aromas of ripe red berry fruits. It is rich and intense with layer upon layer of old-vine merlot flavours with a hint of spices and tobacco, and a lingering finish. A lovely wine that can both be drunk young and will age well.
