2017 Côtes du Rhône Rouge, E.Guigal (magnum)

An enduring favourite with its supple, generous nature and luscious bramble fruit. This classic southern Rhône blend of syrah, grenache and mourvédre glows. Ripe, almost sweet flavours of blackberry and plum, with a touch of spice and liquorice. Lively and fresh, whilst also rich and intense. Very appealing structure but without hard edges: highly drinkable.
