ABOUT THIS WINE
Cazaux's largest production wine, and in contrast to the Vacqueyras, grenache to the fore here - around 70%, with syrah and mourvèdre. A distinctly aromatic style with lots going on - warm, bright, red berry fruits with a striking 'eau de vie' warmth, and notes of liquorice, mediterranean spice, and a hint of white pepper. Rich, plush and grainy - so much more polished and stylish than most wines from the appellation.
