2019 Gigondas, Domaine de la Bouissière

Under the vigilant and inspired stewardship of Thierry Faravel, Domaine de la Bouïssière has become one of the leading producers in Gigondas, producing classic, age worthy and expressive wines of great balance. The 2019 is a traditional blend of three-quarter Grenache with Syrah and Mourvèdre making up the balance. The 60 year-old vines deliver an intense wine with dried Mediterranean herbs lifting the juicy black cherry aromatics. This is superb now and will improve over the next 3 to 5 years.
