2021 Bourgogne Blanc, Alain Chavy (magnum)

The palate is has a lovely weight to it, I believe only around 10% is vinified in old French oak barriques, so it really is down to the quality of fruit and winemaking skill which adds to the richness and delightful mouth-feel.

It really is a superb wine which oozes the elegance and charm of the Puligny region, but at a very compelling price with the added flair of this larger magnum format.
