2015 Côtes du Rhône 'Le Temps Est Venu', Stephane Ogier

Stéphane Ogier has established itself as, and remains, one of the finest Domaines in the Rhône with numerous 100-point scores from Robert Parker. For years, the Ogier family used to sell their grapes to both Guigal and Chapoutier until the 1980s where they started to bottle the wines themselves.

This 60/40 blend of Grenache and Syrah is a real charmer, unusually it sees no time in oak which really helps preserve the red berry fruit and freshness. It is a super wine and I am delighted that once again it has received such praise from the wine critics and that Mr.Wheeler have been able to secure some cases for our Rhône drinking enthusiasts!
