2019 Chambolle-Musigny 'Les Bussieres' Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Anne et Hervé
Elegantly perfumed with lovely sweet fruit, nice weightiness and crunchiness. Plush in texture, very pretty and primary, but with underlying texture and notes of spice.
About the producer, Domaine Anne et Hervé Sigaut:
The Sigaut siblings strike a fine, judicious balance between heritage and modern-day practice that yields perfect fruit for wines of great detail, delicacy and elegance -- wines made in the vineyard. This means organic farming, some biodynamics, and minimal intervention during the vinification process, when racking is only prior to bottling, and fining/ filtration never. And however minimal their use of new oak, it is integrated with the utmost precision. The results are among the purest expressions of Chambolle-Musigny today.
