2009 Barolo Casa Nere, Enzo Boglietti, Piemonte
"Good deep red. Very ripe, high-toned aromas of mocha, coffee and cocoa powder; slightly porty. Then sweet, very ripe and rather easygoing in the mouth, with a wild musky quality enlivened by notes of herbs, clove and pine needles. Fairly oaky Barolo but sweet and pliant, even silky".
