2015 Pinot Gris Rangen Thann Clos Saint Urbain, Zind Humbrecht

Another stunning release from Grand Cru Rangen de Than, this Pinot Gris is simply, one of the greatest expressions of the variety that the Mr.Wheeler team have tasted.  Enormous richness of citrus, peach and white plum fruit marauds the senses with piercing intensity.  Slate and mineral notes add a faintly masculine edge to the fruit and work with impeccable freshness to offer exceptionally high-toned balance.  Beautifully detailed, this wine is a testament to vineyard, variety and the genius touch of winemaker Olivier Humbrecht
