ABOUT THIS WINE
Chateauneuf in style, if not in appellation – as some ‘non-Rhône’ grapes (cabernet and merlot) are included along with the usual syrah, grenache and mourvedre. From vineyards along the banks of the Rhône, Petit Avril is an expressive, rich, striking red – loaded with dark bramble fruit, spice and ripe, supple tannins.
