In their case (Mendoza), where heavy reds and ripe, exotic whites are typical, they offer instead wines of svelte freshness, elegance, energy, and vivid terroir expression. In other words, wines that are incredibly easy to drink.
Prisma represents the broad range of soil profiles the bodega profits from - a range geologically described as an alluvial prism. Situated at Alto Agrelo, outside Luján de Cuyo (pictured), it is this richness and high altitude (1,050m above sea-level) which Penedo Borges combine to create such intriguing wines of balance, personality and intensity.
