The Clarets:
2015 Château Ramafort, Cru Bourgeois, Médoc
Fine, sophisticated nose of restrained, ripe fruit and generous palate of ripe, almost stewed red fruit with hints of spice, leather and tobacco. Lots of complex flavours here supported by strong silky tannins and streaks of minerality. Endless finish.

2021 Château Meaume 'Reserve du Château', Bordeaux Superieur
The grapes for the Réserve come from the Château's oldest plots of merlot with an average age of over 50 years which, with their low yields, produce a wonderfully rich and concentrated wine that will be delicious drinking after 2-3 years, and will last for a good 10-15 years.
For all of you who enjoy a smart buy, and a good house red for years to come, this is an exceptional vintage.

2019 Château de Clotte, Cotes de Castillon
Warmth on the nose that enhances aromas of roasted coffee and candy fruit. On the palate, seductive flavours of black cherry meld with a rich tannic structure. The mid-palate is aerial, leaving an impression of crisp fruit that leads to a long, aromatic finish.

The White Burgundies:
2021 Mâcon-Azé 'Vieilles Vignes', Les Reflets d'Ambre
Laden with expansive orchard fruits, toasted oak, and a wonderfully long finish, it justifies why so often in the past it's been described as a 'mini-Meursault'. Textured, complex, deeply flavoured with a richness of fruit, Reflets d'Ambre' nods to the 'king' of Burgundy even down to its amber-gold glint in the glass.

2022 Mâcon Uchizy, Domaine Talmard
Beautifully weighted; balanced, fruit forward in style, deliciously moreish. Slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks has retained a purity of fruit, where extra time on lees imbues a greater depth of flavour and delicate texture in the palate. Unoaked for a of pronounced citrus, melon and peach, with a backdrop of delicate tropical fruit.

2022 Village Montagny, Vignerons de Buxyn
A ovely, light golden shimmer, with vibrant aromas of citrus and stone-fruit. The palate follows suit with ripe exotic stone-fruit, citrus and an elegant, herbaceous, almost spicy edge and a good length to the finish. A really delicious glass.
