2022 River Garden Sauvignon Blanc, Greenhough, Nelson
On the nose, a touch of European class, with freshly-cut grass and crushed aromatic herbs. A proportion of this cuvée is fermented in barrel, adding a savoury, spicy textural character to the expressive tropical fruit. Fresh as a mountain stream, but also with some weight, and a very appealing, almost creamy, rich texture. Very fine sauvignon.
