2022 Puligny-Montrachet 'Les Charmes', Domaine Alain Chavy
Even at this early stage in the wine's development there's a beautiful golden shimmer in the glass, hinting at a wine of great depth and concentration. The nose offers seductive aromas of dried apricot, pineapple and freshly sliced pear with a faint woody tone and sense of creaminess in the background.

2017 Château Gazin, Pomerol
'Gazin often makes some of the finest, least flashy Pomerols, and that's the case here. There's some chocolatey oak on the nose and palate, complemented by leafy fragrance, textured, fine-grained tannins, a hint of green pepper and a lingering finish. Subtle winemaking.'
