A wonderfully approachable pinot noir offering distinctive aromas of strawberry, cherry and plums. A lovely hint of dried herbs and a touch of sweet vanilla oak adds an extra complexity while the soft smooth tannins give an enticingly velvety texture to the wine. An abundance of red fruits on the palate truly delight and lead to a long lingering finish.

“The 2020 Duckhorn Decoy Pinot Noir will be right up any Pinot lovers street. A pale cranberry red, it beckons you into its embrace with just one whiff of its fresh plumcherry fruit. One mouthful and youll be as taken as I was. Its slightly spicy with sour cherry along with the fresh, and strawberry and raspberry too. Its soft and rounded with decent weight, slightly unexpected given its lightness of colour. And, yep, theres that magnificent freshness again.”
