Higham Vineyard sits on the north side of the Stour Valley in Suffolk and is owned by good friend of mine, David Alston. David took on this wonderful site in 2019 and has since been managing the vineyard personally - management that resulted in a most impressive début vintage last year.

ABOUT THIS WINE
Made by traditional method from Pinot Noir and lightly blended with chosen parcels of Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier; this is a fragrant rosé with notes of strawberry on the finish. A wonderful aperitif.
Tasting Note
A delicious, elegant style of sparkling rosé which deftly combines luscious red fruits and floral notes with a serious, sophisticated structure. Has a fine mousse, with notes of brioche and appealing wild strawberry flavours ? with just a hint of exotic spice, and a racy, pink grapefruit freshness. 60% pinot noir, with equal parts chardonnay and pinot meunier bring, respectively, fine aromatics, and a touch extra weight. A first class English fizz.
