Grande Réserve, Champagne Gosset

Champagne Gosset Grande Réserve is a non-vintage champagne made from 45% chardonnay, 45% pinot noir and 10% pinot meunier, 80% of which is from the Grand Cru vineyards in Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Villers-Marmery.

Established in 1584, Champagne Gosset is one of only three houses to merit the distinction of ‘Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant’ as well as the trophy for ‘L’Excellence des Savoir-Faire', and one whose exceptional quality and expertise ensures its champagnes remain among the world’s most sought after.

On the nose, ethereal freshness and perfumes of white peach, mirabelle and flowers that lead to absolute precision in crystalline, toasty yellow fruit, spice that is enhanced by a vibrant, creamy minerality on the palate. As malolactic fermentation is withheld from the production of the Grande Réserve’s base wines, it makes for an expression of grand cru terroir that shines particularly brightly. When followed by over four years cellaring, here is an unrivalled elegance, complexity and roundness that is beautifully textured.    Heighten these delicious qualities with oysters, languoustine, comté cheese and tapas.
