Viognier

Viognier counts among the 'aromatic' white varietals and is hallmarked by a delightfully floral, honied and slightly nutty bouquet. Building to a rounded sweet citrus body, it makes for full-bodied white wines that pair wonderfully with umami-focused dishes like butter-poached shrimp and lobster, root vegetable-based recipes or North African spices such as saffron, turmeric and paprika.
